MUKTAMAR PAS KE 5 di IPOH 15 -17 August 2008

On the 15 -17 of August 2008 , Ximax Sales Department and Marketing department embarked on their own independent roadshow in Ipoh in conjunction with the 5th Muktamar PAS. The event was held at the Stadium Indera Mulia , south of Ipoh city. The 3-day event saw throngs of Ipoh folks and the delegates to the PAS General Assembly visiting the sales fare. Ximax booth was one of only two booths selling telecomunications products and was very well accepted at the fare.

The roadshow highlighted for the first time, Alif E72. The Ximax model with the moslem applications. Such, the event was also a debut for Alif E72.



Discussion after discussion were held amongst the team embers to ensure that all system move perfectly.

There was a light storm on the late afternoon of the second day creating havoc and sending potential customers away from the sales fare.

However, they were back immediately after the shower.

We had PAS big guns visiting the booth.

BC must be thinking ...

"I dare say, this particular roadshow provided one of the best initial experience for the young team of Ximax. The fact that the team did everythng on their own from A to Z which includes the booking of participation, the setting up the booth, the marketing,the sales, the loading and all the jazz.... provided the ultimate satisfaction to the team. The product engineer was also the mover, the sales person. The admin lady was also the promoter and the chauffer. What is itthat we cannot do if we put our hearts and soul to it?"

Go Mobile Expo 2008

The word 'Succesfull' alone doesn't do justice to last week's Go Mobile 2008 held at PWTC. The people behind GoMobile 2008 especially the ones from MOBILE WORLD magazine have I know been breaking their backs to realise the event.

We cannot say the least about ourself either. Being the 1st ever event where Ximax was going to showcase itself on a national platform, the few people at Ximax and Linktel had also been breaking their backs to ensure a participation that meets our marketing and sales objectives. Ximax was also one of the silver sponsors for the event which earned us a few advertising spots at prominent places during the expo.

Ximax also sponsored the Floor Fever Breakdancing Boys to participate in a breakdancing competition held during the function, and sure enough, the very energetic, flexible ( for lack of better descriptions) and cute boys of Floor Fever did dance away with the winning money.

The weekend also unleashed some hidden talents amongs the young team of Ximax when a few of them took to the mich at the Ximax booth to promote Ximax. Those of you with interesting pictures here... oh please let me have them. I need pictures here.

The Ximax brand also won an award for.... presented to Ximax during the Gala Nite on 20th November 2008. Must say that the confidence level for Ximax went up many levels there. Ironically the star on the Award held by Lock ( that's him on the left....) shone really bright in the photograph. Is this a sign that we all must continue to believe..............

This is it. The start of a new era of many of us in the team. For a start, there will be a surge of materials into this blog given the fact that there have been so many events happening with us @ Ximax, and the delay in creating a blog.

I am hoping that this blog will be a sharing platform for all of us from within Ximax and out of it. So do bear with us and do keep all the ideas and opinions coming in.
